Author: IGDA.SSC Webmaster
April 22, 2008

There are now 2 slots left for the XNA One on One Coaching workshop. Do hurry; respond to the post or email to me if you are interested in learning XNA. Basically, you can learn yourself, but the workshop has the advantages of me breathing down your neck (to make sure you do some work) and that if we get stuck, we can solve problems together instead of relying on forums.

So hurry, book your slot!

Siegework!

Author: IGDA.SSC Webmaster
April 12, 2008

This is Siegework, the game which my team and I produced for our games development module. You can download the game here. The game is created with Java Monkey Engine, with Java Network Library and jME Physics 2. As the game contains some paid models, we are thinking of a way to release the source code without any issues. Meanwhile, enjoy the video and the game!

Me? I was just the game designer, documentation writer (the Game Design Doc and Technical Doc) and the audio programmer. The starting theme comes from Age of Wonders 2, and the battle theme is from Soulcalibar.

Our first IGDASSC Game: Freefall Release#1

Author: IGDA.SSC Webmaster
February 7, 2008

To commemorate the Chinese New Year, we are launching Freefall, our first Flash game from the IGDASSC. We are tweaking it and adding more, eh, features to it in the time to come, but right now it’s playable, it’s beautiful (thanks to Justin’s art!) and we will work to add more stuff in. Consider this our pet project :)

Oh yah, you can play Freefall by clicking here!
